STORYBOUND is a newsletter and podcast that rambles about neurodivergence, mental health and all things creative.
Here we talk about books, writing, arts of all kinds, and even video games. Because you can never have too many hobbies as a neurodivergent goblin.
Each week I provide glimpses of behind-the-scenes as I work towards breaking into publishing, commentary on my favorite hobbies, while also examining the challenges of staying creative with such a busy, crazy mind.
Come explore the uncertain waters of living a creative life with mental illness and neurodivergence.
Who is Charlie?
Hi! I’m Charlie, a late-diagnosed AuDHD/OCD mother and aspiring author.
I started writing in middle school, where I would scribble disjointed poetry in my math notebook instead of paying attention. Writing became a lifeline, helping me make sense of my emotions and the world around me.
To date, I have written three books (all unpublished).
Dancing With Shadows, an urban fantasy with a slow burn romance, and is currently shelved until further notice.
A Witch’s Guide to Magic, Murder, and Monsters, a paranormal romance told in dual-POV with an autistic coded protagonist and morally gray vampire, is actively being queried.
Claimed by the Ash Prince, an erotic retelling of the fairytale, the Snow Queen. Self-publishing January 2025.

Writing is wonderfully fulfilling whilst also being isolating. Storybound was created to create a community for writers who struggle with mental health and neurodivergence. As part of a community, we help encourage each other to be persistent in the face of life’s daily challenges.
Storybound is a free newsletter. It costs nothing to join the community.
